A digital Tesla wrap is an image applied to the vehicle’s on-screen visualization through Paint Shop. A vinyl wrap is material installed on the vehicle body. Tesla × Wrap creates digital PNG designs for the screen avatar; it does not sell or install physical film.

What a Tesla avatar wrap means
The avatar is the digital representation of your vehicle on its screen. Tesla’s Paint Shop documentation describes changing that visualization, while the official custom-wraps repository supplies PNG layouts for vehicle body panels. A design made for one variant may not line up on another. Choose the exact model before creating a wrap, even when the same artwork looks attractive on several cars.
Can you try it without owning a Tesla?
You can edit and rotate the browser’s 3D preview without access to a Tesla vehicle. To validate the real Paint Shop result, you need access to a compatible car. Tesla’s app support says vehicle features require a delivered vehicle with mobile access enabled. Installing the phone app alone does not verify a PNG on a real car; a vehicle owner can help test a file exported for their model.
Does a digital design tell you the vinyl wrap cost?
No. A PNG is not a material quote or an installation plan. Tesla’s official vinyl-wrap service describes materials and installation, which is a different product from a Paint Shop texture. For a real exterior change, ask an installer about vehicle coverage, finish and preparation. A screen preview can help communicate an idea, but is not evidence of physical color, fit or price.
Your next step for a digital wrap
Browse the PNG gallery for ideas or download the matching template. Edit the artwork and inspect both sides in 3D. Export the flat PNG, check its dimensions, filename and file size, then use the Tesla app or a USB Wraps folder to transfer it. Select it in the vehicle’s Paint Shop afterward: downloading a design is not the same as applying it.
