Updated
Download the flat PNG texture, not a screenshot of a car. Renaming a JPEG or WebP to .png does not convert its contents. Check the actual downloaded file’s dimensions, format and byte size, especially after sharing it through an app that may recompress images.

Format and resolution
Tesla wraps must use PNG, with image dimensions between 512 and 1024 pixels per side. The editor uses the original proportions: Cybertruck exports 1024 × 768 (768 × 576 fallback); other models export 1024 × 1024 (512 × 512 fallback).
Stay under 1 MB
The export uses palette compression to reduce PNG size. For highly detailed images, fewer colors or lower resolution can help.
Give the texture a simple filename
My_Wrap.png is a practical example. Avoid emoji and punctuation outside the published character set, and keep the name short enough for the 30-character limit. Check file properties after downloading: it must contain PNG data, not just have a .png suffix. An image-sharing app may turn your original file into a JPEG, so transfer the original document when possible.
A valid PNG still needs the correct layout
Passing format and size checks does not prove that every panel will look right. Compare the model, year and trim before editing; a texture for a different variant can place a logo across the wrong surface. Also distinguish the installable flat texture from the attractive 3D cover shown in a gallery. Download the PNG artwork or export from the editor, then inspect it in Paint Shop on a compatible vehicle.
