A Tesla wrap template maps a flat image onto the car’s digital body panels. Choose the exact model and variant before adding logos, stripes or text. A PNG made for another trim may load but place the artwork on the wrong panels.
A map of your vehicle
The white areas of a UV template map to different painted body panels. The dark areas are unused. This editor masks artwork to the white regions.
Design panel by panel
Use the zone fill tool for panel colors, then add text and images as separate layers. Check both sides in 3D, as panel orientations can differ.
Use the original model-specific proportions
The local official files measure 1024 × 1024 for Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X variants, and 1024 × 768 for Cybertruck. Model 3 original, refreshed Standard/Premium and refreshed Performance use separate layouts. Model Y also separates original, refreshed trims and Model Y L. A familiar model name is not enough: use the exact variant listed in the template catalogue.
Place one detail, then inspect it in 3D
Start with a small stripe or word on one panel and rotate the vehicle to confirm its position and orientation. Only then add the full composition. This is easier to correct than designing an entire flat poster and discovering that a door segment is rotated or mirrored. Avoid moving or cropping the template itself, since those coordinates define where the texture lands.
